Z Thoroughbred Racing LLC’s 2012 offering is a 2 year old colt, Soul Intent, by Perfect Soul (IRE) out of Danish Wildcat by Danehill. This colt's broodmare sire is Danehill who topped North America and Europe combined in progeny earnings in 2011. The colt's grandsire is Sadler's Wells, the sire of worldclass racehorses and now sires Galileo, Montjeu, and High Chaparral. Soul Intent's cross of Sadler's Wells/Danehill is the same cross as undefeated European Champion Horse of the Year - Frankel and 2 year-old European champion filly Maybe. Racing partnerships are sold based upon 5% increments or multiples thereof. The company was formed to bring the thrills of racehorse ownership to more fans in the Northwest, California, and Arizona. Syndicating racehorses and sharing expenses is a proven way to reduce risk and expense of ownership while still experiencing all the excitement and benefits of owning and racing a thoroughbred racehorse, including the experience of standing in the winning circle for the winner’s photograph! The company is planning to race their stable of horses at Emerald Downs in Auburn, Washington and Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley, CA. Owners will be able to visit the backstretch, attend horse workouts, and have special privileges for the Turf Club and saddling paddock on race day.
